Acer’s Iconia Tab A700 comes with Tegra 3 and Full-HD Display
Acer launches the A700 Iconia Tab, a 10.1-inch tablet, with the Nvidia Tegra is 3 and a 1920-by-1200 pixel display capable. A test pattern of the device is landed in the Russian website NoMobile.ru. Finished devices could appear in March or April.
The Tegra chip has four cores running at 1.3 GHz. Also on board are for wireless 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and 3G. The device has a microSD slot and a micro HDMI and USB interface. The 3.5-Millimter jack can be connected to a headset. The camera on the back of photos with 5 megapixels, which is not specified on the front, but should offer HD quality.
With 650 grams, the tablet is relatively difficult, and most devices today put less than 600 grams on the scale. The very generously sized with 9800 mAh battery which should make for long periods – when the power consumption of the screen is not too much of any consequence.
Shows how the A700 is, at least for high-end 2012, the tablets move to quad-core CPUs and high-resolution displays on the program. Apple will also pursue this direction with the iPad 3. Not only is the first quad-core Asus Transformer Prime Tablet, but its screen dissolves to only 1280 by 800 pixels.
