Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition Now in Geneva Motor Show
At the Geneva Motor Show debuts the exclusive Launch Edition limited edition numbered version: 400 units for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, 500 for North America and 100 for the rest of the world. Only buyers 4C ‘Launch Edition’ will enjoy a unique privilege: may participate in an exclusive event to be held in Italy and which also includes a session advanced driving-instructors with professional pilots to learn how to make the most of the potential of Alfa Romeo 4C safely.
The Alfa Romeo 4C ‘Launch Edition’ presents exclusive features like the carbon fiber finish or matte body ‘White Carrara’. Monocoque made entirely of carbon fiber technology ‘pre-preg’ derived from Formula 1, adopted only by the most advanced supercars. On the outside, the new ‘Launch Edition’ can ‘wear’ two body styles – ‘Alfa Red’ or the ‘White Carrara’ exclusive mate. They adorn this limited edition carbon aerodynamic kit which further reduces its weight (includes headlights, spoiler and door mirror caps), aluminum rear diffuser with dark, headlights bi-Led and tires 18 inches alloy (front wheels) and 19 inches (rear wheels) with dark treatment. Front air intakes, brake calipers a unique color, racing exhaust system and suspension kit with specific calibrated shock absorbers and rear stabilizer bar.
Inside, the sports seats are highlighted and the steering wheel, both in leather and microfiber with white stitching, plus distinctive and numbered plaque. Instead, the Alfa Romeo 4C ‘Launch Edition’ with red body has red stitching on the lining of the wheel and the handbrake on the mats, in handcuffs and sports seats.
New engine and rear-wheel drive centrality is built entirely of aluminum, has 1750cc 240HP turbocharged direct injection and 350Nm of peak torque, 80% available from the 1.700RPM. Works in conjunction with a dual clutch transmission Alfa TCT paddles on the steering wheel and new Alfa DNA selector additional mode ‘Race’. Its top speed of over 250 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds.
