Apple, prevailing in the market for tablets
Certainly apple has controlled the tablets market. The Apple company in the last quarter sold 9.25 million iPads, reflecting an increase of 183 per cent over the same period of the previous year, without forgetting the 20,34 million iPhones sold in those three months (142 per cent more than in the second quarter of 2010).
This suggests that apple will eating candy to some manufacturers, but the competition for the iPad has the name of Android that occupies 30% of the market. Repeating the strategy with smartphones, manufacturers who want to compete against Apple will have to run the mobile operating system from Google, because of time Microsoft does not want to include the Windows Phone 7 in the market of the tablets.
