Asus U36S, a new notebook based on Sandy Bridge

Asus is preparing to launch a new laptop based on Sandy Bridge , the Asus U36S , an ultra-thin that it would be the successor of the Asus U36Jc.

The new Asus U36S is encased in a magnesium-aluminum alloy resistant fingerprints, is lightweight and durable. It is powered by a second generation of Intel Core processors, with dual-channel controller and DDR3 memory up to 750GB hard drive with Windows 7 pre-loaded.

The Asus U36 Series features a 13.3-inch glossy widescreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio, a multi-card reader, USB 3.0, fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi Gigabit Ethernet LAN, multi-touch gesture, a Chiclet keyboard, an HDMI output and a battery 4-cell/8-cell.

System also brings instant-on Express Gate operating system and Super Hybrid Engine technology to save energy.
