Mobile phone radiation – how stressful it really is?
There were already led many discussions on electromagnetic pollution with mobile phones. It is claimed that the mobile phone radiation is carcinogenic.
Hardly a topic is discussed as controversial as that of the so-called “mobile phone radiation”. Numerous reports and studies on possible adverse health effects are unsettling consumers enormously. Often the term is used electromagnetic pollution, which is closely linked with the concept of electromagnetic environmental compatibility (EMC). The said electromagnetic stresses, however, from a psychological point of view stronger the allegedly harmful effects on the human beings. Thus, the words “mobile phone radiation” or even “electro” took place to describe the technically produced electromagnetic fields from mobile phones.
Panic or objective facts?
Numerous well-known scientific institutions and organizations are very much against public hysteria about the possible health risks from mobile phones. How contradictory research findings are occupied, on the one hand, the study of European scientists from Finland, Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark and Norway from early 2007; it says, among other things, that increases the intensive and extensive use of mobile phones to cancer risk. In contrast, the result of Danish researchers from the year 2006, they came as part of its analysis to the conclusion that there is no direct connection between mobile phone use and the growth of malignant brain tumors.
To inquire about a real link between the occurrence of tumors and intensive use of a mobile phone must be more research on mobile phone radiation. To date, the mechanisms of brain tumors are largely unknown. But only the slightest possibility of a link between cell phone use and increased cancer risk warrants each new study.
Yet for every consumer a rational approach to his mobile phone is worth pursuing. Each phone should have the “Blue Angel”. The colloquially as the “Blue Angel” designated approval get environmentally friendly products. All there is also the SAR. SAR stands for Specific Absorption Rate, which are mobile phones with a SAR of less than 0.6 W / kg (watts per kilogram of body weight) as radiation. In addition, there are a few simple tips on how to reduce your personal exposure to radiation. If they do not need your cell phone, turn it off. Do not sleep in your immediate vicinity of mobile phone. Enter not the unit directly on the body, but in the pocket or backpack. Switch on the phone every now and then the ear-side or use a headset at best. The attributes available anti-radiation sticker or even anti-radiation panties are the way not only frivolous but also too expensive and totally ineffective.
