Modern Dish: Dutch Eggs Recipe Idea
Today we will prepare a dish that can be perfect if you plan to do lunch or dinner of portions or snacking. You can also use it as a main course. The ingredients are simple and the sauce has a flavor that goes well with eggs.
Go to the kitchen! Ingredients for 4 people:
- 8 eggs
- 8 slices of bread
- 8 slices of Iberian ham
- Extra virgin olive oil
For the hollandaise sauce:
- 1 egg yolk
- 250g butter
- 1 / 2 lemon
How to prepare it:
First make the sauce. Melt the butter and let it temper. Beat the yolks in a bowl and gradually add the melted butter while beating with the stick. When the sauce is emulsified, add a few drops of lemon juice and seasoning. Book.
In a wide pan put plenty of boiling water, but not gushing, a pinch of salt and a dash of vinegar. Put the eggs poach for 3-4 minutes.
Withdraw to a plate to drain the water.
Fry the bread slices in a pan with oil. Brown on both sides and remove to a plate with paper towels to remove excess oil.
Place the croutons on a baking tray, lay on top of each slice with a slice of ham and a poached egg.
Cover with Hollandaise sauce and broil 2-3 minutes.
