Since time is immemorial, man has used various means to know the time; the hourglass electronic watches to the sundial and mechanical clocks. Two designers Emre Bakir and Mustafa Karakus, , has designed this clock called Monolith in Negrocobre Design Studio, which gives the time in three dimensions. The hands of the hour and minute hands are placed on two different levels. The clock has LED screens and polished surfaces, glass or plastic. Monolith also incorporates an alarm function. The concept was awarded a Red Dot Design Award last year. Its creators announce that it comes in several colors to be compatible with all decorative styles.
