Peugeot Aureon, a concept with three wheels
Who said the French brands were outdone in terms of futuristic unconventional concept vehicles?
Designed by designer Cristian Polanco, a member of Devian Art is a two-seater that displays an unusual appearance at least. Peugeot Aureon named, it has three wheels, dual front and higher back; the rear wheel without hub is housing the electric motor. The car body is made entirely with a transparent plastic material reinforced with carbon fibers. This for a better view and to make the car lighter and also more attractive. The shape of Peugeot Aureon seems inspired by insects, particularly flying ants. It also has doors that open upward, like the wings of insects. That’s why it is nicked as Grasshopper Car.
With its minimalist design, modern, stylish, Aureon is planned for future urban transport. Alas, the concept of Cristian Polanco is not even managed to climb into the top 30 in the competition from Peugeot.
