Shenzhen Interchange: a skyscraper 100% Green
WORKac, the design studio in New York, is currently working on a draft environmental skyscraper for the city of Shenzen, China. The project is called Shenzhen Interchange.
Shenzhen Interchange is to erect a building similar to a vertical metropolis above the subway station of the Chinese city. Completely environmentally friendly, the building uses solar energy with photovoltaic panels and rainwater drainage system with water. All this is enough to power the building and its residents for water and electricity. Shenzhen Interchange takes its name from its location. On the one hand, it is above the metro and secondly, it is located at the intersection of two very important boulevards. The floors of the building will consist of hotels, apartments, offices and shopping centers.
This vertical city offers residents direct access to a subway station from the elevator, which is very convenient for tourists or office workers who want to move very quickly. She also has wooded areas to give more content to turn green.
