Tomb Raider Trilogy, Game Review
The latest adventures of Lara Croft, you are offered a cheap compilation with a nice sugar coating HD. So you can enjoy even more the beauty of the beautiful.
The style is of compilations. After God of War on PS3 and Super Mario All-Stars on Wii, that’s now arrived Tomb Raider Trilogy, a compilation of the latest titles in the series, namely Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld. If Underworld is identical to the version already published in 2008, Legend and Anniversary enjoy a wonderful contrast in graphic reprint. Tomb Raider Experience Trilogy is very interesting. Not only because the titles are retouched so beautiful, but also because there is a thread in the script between these three titles: the disappearance and search for the mother of Lara Croft. Indeed, from an early age, Lara Croft is a curious girl and she left very often on an expedition with his parents. During one of these trips, one of the engines of their aircraft exploded and crashed it in ruins in Peru. Subsequently, the adventurers discover the heart of the ruins a portal to another dimension. Unfortunately, Lara’s mother was carried away by the portal: it was the last time she saw her mother.
In those three games, you will take great pleasure in solving puzzles, performing stunts, and you hang swing with rope or just climbing the walls to reach places that are inaccessible to ordinary mortals. The gameplay responds beautifully, no complaints. The controls are easy and intuitive, the learning curve short. Some negative elements are noted, as a camera sometimes recalcitrant, fighting with guns a bit archaic or simply moving large objects. Otherwise, everything is nickel. The graphics are obviously an important and Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary benefit enormously. The titles are simply better than the original release. Underworld side very little change, since the title was already available on a console this generation.
The value of this compilation is also enjoy additional content, and Eidos did not skimp on the content. So you can enjoy with Tomb Raider Trilogy nearly 30 minutes of additional videos, themes and avatars to install on your console. The videos are particularly interesting, with interviews on the production of such securities. In short, Tomb Raider Trilogy is a wonderful compilation that every fan should own this series. The extra content is interesting, republication very well done and above all the securities offered are really fun. Despite some difficulties of gameplay, it’s a buy for sure, given the low asking price.
