Unveiled at the beginning of June, iOS 5A what rewarding. Still in testing period, the Apple operating system is now in its Beta 3… for developers only.
First, the fifth version of iOS is much more stable and responsive. Number of bugs have been fixed and can be noted that the camera application opens more quickly (finally!).
In addition, several new features are appearing with Beta 3:
-Ability to assign a vibrate mode to some contacts
-You can choose the ringtone of SMS and E-mails
-Arrival of the AssistiveTouch service that provides access through a gesture (pinch, multiple fingers, etc.) to shortcuts on the screen (screen lock, volume control, etc.). There is the possibility to register up to six gestures.
-as it did with the option “data abroad”, Beta 3 now offers the possibility to block the voice calls abroad. It is an additional control, if enabled, to not let the texts.
-Customization of the more advanced location-based “cell Network search” is a direct reference to the controversy raised by the file kept in memory an infinite list of all cross-GSM antennas.
iOS 5 will be released in the fall on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 1, iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation, not to mention the iPhone 5 that may be relrased at the same time!
